There is not such a place as the best place to dive in Galapagos, but many exist. All have their different attractiveness and they also vary the species during the climatic changes in the year. There are basically 2 ways of diving in Galapagos and each one has its own attractiveness, and its own price. To make a one week tour embarked in a diving cruise there will be needed among 1.500 and 2.500 usd, depending on the category that you’re looking for, these cruises last between one and two weeks, and their advantage is that they travel to the islands of the north where there is an incredible unique marine fauna.

The second option are the daily tours, this means that you sleep in a hotel and you go out in the morning in boats to dive half-day, you return to lunch and continue diving in the afternoon. In both cases there is the possibility to make night dives.

The best time of year to dive in Galapagos is between October and January.
