There is not such a place as the best place to dive in Galapagos, but many exist. All have their different attractiveness and they also vary the species during the climatic changes in the year. Prices, days and schedules.
There are basically 2 ways of diving in Galapagos and each one has its own attractiveness, and its own price. To make a one week tour embarked in a diving cruise there will be needed among 1.500 and 2.500 usd, depending on the category that you’re looking for, these cruises last between one and two weeks, and their advantage is that they travel to the islands of the north where there is an incredible unique marine fauna.
The second option are the daily tours, this means that you sleep in a hotel and you go out in the morning in boats to dive half-day, you return to lunch and continue diving in the afternoon. In both cases there is the possibility to make night dives.
The daily trips generally go to: Gordon Rocks, Seymour, Mosquera and Floreana. This second option will cost you about 120 usd daily, this includes two immersions a day, all equipment included, , lunch, etc, transfers, and boat, the only thing that you have to pay is the hotel and the food. Generally in these daily tours you navigate for an hour to reach the place for diving and a hour of return, but the trip, believe me, it is worthwhile.
